Learn About Livestock Trust - Sheep Visit

As part of the Learn About Livestock Project we had one Mummy sheep called Dotty and her two lambs called Dinky and Dougal come to stay with us for a whole week.

Learn About Livestock aims to give children the opportunity to experience farming firsthand, by caring for a ewe and her lambs within the school grounds.

This project is part of the educational offering provided by the Food and Farming Discovery Trust.  

Our Reception children took the lead in looking after the sheep as part of their topic work, but all children within the school and Nursery had the chance to spend some time with the sheep and participate in this memorable experience.
